FOW - Forgehammer Quest LF Elite Players for Group
ok well its been tough to find a decent group who is willin to stick through Fissure all da way to the armorer - I finally collected ALL materials i need to make Ele Fissure armor. I decided Id rather do it all at once than to go seperately for each piece of armor!. The purpose of this post is to find others who need to get to the armorer and not only doin it for the LOOT. Come for the loot but please stay the whole duration.
Team I want is:
2 Warrior (take da brute of the dmg as well as deal it)
2 Ele (two Fire w/ lightning flash) or (one with Smite and one Fire w/ lightning flash)
1 Prot Monk (hold life barrier and life bonds with the help of the Nerco)
1 Necro (keep the prot monk with energy use well of power)
2 Healers (Heal)
it takes quite a bit of time and i hope to take a short break between quests. Post up if you are interested.
IGN: Ms Chunk add to friends list i may be under a diff name - i plan on going once we have Favor 7/23/05 preferably as early as possible. I have lots to do in da evening time.
1 Elementalist: Ms Chunk (me) (Fire w/ Lightning Flash)
2 Elementalist:
3 Warrior:
3 Warrior:
5 Necro:
6 Prot Monk:
7 Healer:
8 Healer:

I'm willing to go. Player name is Apollos the Great. BTW I'm not a aggro war. I stick to a gameplan! I'll be on at 9 tonight.

Any decent team I've seen and suceeded with has had at least one mesmer. Yet you seem to not want one..

You do not need an elite group of players to get to the armorer. The reason you may not have been able to make it before is probably your team selection. There is absolutely no need for 3 monks. As SlY_DeMoN said you need at least one person you can interrupt. Swap out one of those healers for a ranger or mesmer.

I was noting the glaring lack of a mesmer too. A Me/Mo would EASILY be able to take the place of a 'healing' monk.
So-called elite teams should have a mesmer.

done the quests to get the to armourer many times in FOW and NEVER needed a mesmer. The best group i played with had 7 YES SEVEN monks in. We had 2 primary mo's 2 warriors/mo's 2 eles/mo's a ranger/mo and a necro. oh and we pretty much cleared the FOW.

What I meant, Spike, was that with the makeup of the group he was proposing, a mesmer would be very handy.
Next time you go on a run, take a Mesmer with you. You might be pleasantly surprised.
END THE TYRANNY OF CLASS PREJUDICE!

Or the smiting monks. They're so rejected. Take one of them.
I have a monk configured to smite, I can't be on tonight though

Defended the forge with 5, killed the seeds with 4. No sweat.
W/Mo if you need. I don't deal a whole lot of damage, but I provide a lot of support and can take damage well. I've been running Gladiators Defense, Watch Yourself, Healing Breeze, Heal Party, Galrath Slash, Bonetti's Defense, Remove Hex, and Rebirth. Expect me on almost all day so just give me a shout.

If you decide to take out one of the healing monks, I know of a ranger that would be more than happy to help out.

Exactly... I usually never find a group to FoW with my Ranger, only trappers for UW smite runs
Nobody wants my W/Mo for FoW either b/c everyone thinks every W/Mo is a noob (which i have to admit, it is a very popular class and easily played by stupid noobs).

I didn't mean to imply that it is not possible with multiple monks. It is easier and faster with an interrupter in the party though. With multiple monks you are pretty much brute forcing your way through. Whereas adding in different support characters offers a more elegant(and better IMO) solution.

I must admit I'm guilty of this as well. I usually only take W/? that I know personally to the FoW or UW.

We did'nt brute force our way though either. I just don't seen the need or the point of mesmers in pve. And before you say but you have'nt played one YES I HAVE my 1st character was a E/me but since I hardly ever used any me skills I switched to something a lot more usefull to me and any group i was in an E/Mo.
